Your recordings

uear records only when you press Record, and only through your browser's own microphone permission. Every recording — sung in the app or uploaded — is kept on your device. The pitch is measured on your device too; nothing is sent anywhere to be analysed.

If you make an account, your recordings and takes are also stored on our server so they are on your other devices. Only your account can play them. Deleting a take deletes its recording from your devices and from the server.

Your account

We keep your email address, a scrambled form of your password, your profile, the names you give your children inside the app, and a record of when you sign in (with the IP address, kept for 90 days) so we can spot abuse. We never sell any of it and there is no advertising.

Payments, if you subscribe, are handled by Stripe; we never see your card.

Analytics

We count visits and signed-in users with our own analytics, lytics. It does not use advertising cookies and does not follow you to other sites.
